Clothing is a life necessity, but it’s not something everyone can easily afford, limiting their ability to find and maintain employment, as well as regain a sense of self after a crisis. As part of our efforts to build stability and further self-reliance, we offer the Back on Track program, supplying free work clothing as customers prepare for job interviews, training and more. Emergency clothing is also available for men, women and children as needed.

This wrap-around service is just part of what Freestore Foodbank offers to help individuals and families during difficult times. We are able to accept any gently used adult and children’s clothing at this time but will also accept monetary donations. Intimate items such as socks, undergarments (men and women) must be new and packaged. Each autumn, we also host a coat and cold weather drive for all ages. For more information about our clothing availability or our most requested items, please call 513-357-4600.

Back on Track is located at our Customer Connection Center, 112 E Liberty St, Cincinnati, OH 45204 in Over-the-Rhine. It is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from:

  • 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Last year, over 2,800 people were assisted with clothing through our Back on Track program.

Call 513-357-4600 before making a donation. Donations need to be scheduled.

To ensure optimal efficiency in the processing of clothing donations, we kindly request that individuals contact us in advance to specify the items and determine their acceptability. Interested parties are encouraged to call 513-357-4600. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
