Are you interested in helping us serve our hungry neighbors and solve the issue of hunger? The Freestore Foodbank plans numerous Special Events throughout the year and you and your company can help make those events even bigger and better than before! Each event has its own unique audience and makes its own unique impact on our work and our community.
Want to help solve hunger in the Tri-State area? Participating in our annual events is a great way to get involved. In fact, the Freestore Foodbank raises over a quarter of our annual operating budget through fundraising events like:
On Sunday, September 5, more than 200,000 rubber ducks will swim to solve hunger in the 27th annual Rubber Duck Regatta presented by Dawn. The first prize winner will receive a new Honda courtesy of Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Honda Dealers, and possibly $1 million, if their duck is the “KEMBA Million Dollar Duck.” The second prize winner will receive $100 in gift cards from Kroger every week for a year ($5,200 total), and five additional winners will receive $500 cash from KEMBA Credit Union. Ducks are available now! The Rubber Duck Regatta is the Freestore Foodbank’s largest fundraising event, raising over a million dollars a year for the last seven years.
Crocs is proud to be a national partner of Feeding America – the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization working to connect people with food and end hunger. We have seen the power of our organization when we come together for good. This is the next step in our journey to continue to do the right thing, and we know that through this partnership we will be able to make a meaningful impact to those who need it most in our local communities.
Now, when you complete a purchase on Crocs.com or in one of our Crocs U.S. retail stores, you can add a donation amount of your choosing. Every $1 donated helps provide up to 10 meals* secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local member food banks.

TikTok has developed a first-ever game feature within its platform, The Garden of Good. The Garden of Good is available to all US-based app users who are 18 years or older. TikTokers have the opportunity to build a garden, nurture into maturity and eventually harvest those crops in exchange for a real-life monetary donation to Feeding America. For every donated harvest, TikTok will donate a minimum of $.50 or maximum of $2 to Feeding America and local Feeding America Network Food Banks. TikTokers will have the freedom to make as many “harvests” as possible during the lifetime of the game!
To participate in the Garden of Good, download or open TikTok and head to your profile page. You should notice a vegetable icon on the upper left corner; click the icon to start your garden! Garden of Good is accessible on mobile devices only: https://snssdk1233.onelink.me/bIdt
