Zip’s Cafe Taps Great Lakes Christmas Ale

Join Zip’s Cafe on Monday, October 27th for the release of Christmas Ale! Doors open at 4 PM, Santa arrives with the first Christmas Ale keg in the city at 6 PM. It’ll be a total Great Lakes Tap Takeover with rare, seasonal and year round beer. 20% of the sales that night will be donated back to the Freestore Foodbank.


Parkers Blue Ash Tavern

Chili Cook-Off & Pig Roast

Come out to Parkers Blue Ash Tavern on Saturday, November 1st at 1PM as they kick off their November food drive with a Chili Cook-Off and Pig Roast. Tickets to the event cost $10. For the entire month of November, you can bring in three canned goods to be donated to the Freestore Foodbank and receive a cup of the winning chili or soup of the day for free! Find out more here!

Beat Auburn. Beat Hunger.

CrimsonAti, the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the University of Alabama Alumni Association, will be participating in the ‘Beat Auburn Beat Hunger’ food drive.  When the Crimson Tide plays football, the Alabama faithful in Greater Cincinnati meet at the Firehouse Grill in Blue Ash for a GameDay Watch Party.  They will be collecting cans of food for the Freestore Foodbank until November 21st.  The University of Alabama hopes to collect a goal of over 300,000 pounds of food to beat Auburn two years in a row.  Click here for more information; Beat Auburn Beat Hunger.

Consignment Shop Sales Benefit Freestore Foodbank

Shop at Treasures 4 Charity and help support the Freestore Foodbank. The consignment shop is located at 2723 Woodburn Avenue in East Walnut Hills and features upscale furniture and accessories. The Freestore Foodbank receives 70% of the selling price of donated items. Treasures 4 Charity is open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday.
