A Letter From Kreg’s Desk
Meet our new CEO
Summer always seems to pass too quickly, and this one has brought big changes for me. I’m honored — and truly grateful — to step into the role of President & CEO at Freestore Foodbank.
Leading this organization and serving our neighbors across the tristate is a responsibility I don’t take lightly, and I’m committed to continuing our work to ensure no one in our community goes hungry.
I hope you and your loved ones are enjoying these final days of summer. As the new school year approaches, many children will soon return to classrooms and once again have access to free meals during the school day. But for now, we still have several critical weeks of summer left. During this time, many families struggle to keep nutritious food on the table, and children need consistent, healthy meals so they can head into the school year energized, focused, and ready to learn.
That’s where you come in. Your compassion and commitment to our mission help bridge this gap when it matters most. Because of your generosity, families don’t have to face these challenges alone.
I hope you enjoy this edition of Connection and take pride in the real difference your support continues to make. Thank you for standing with us and for caring so deeply about our neighbors. Your support means more than you know.
Gratefully,
Kreg Keesee
