For nearly eight years, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot has led the Feeding America network as its Chief Executive Officer. Claire joined the Feeding America as its CEO just prior to the entire world shutting down as a result of the worldwide Pandemic.
One of Claire’s first official acts was to be the Keynote Speaker for Freestore’s Annual Meeting. Claire will be stepping down from her role leading America’s largest nonprofit organization as of June 30th. Claire has had an incredible impact on our work to create a hunger-free, healthy, and thriving community.
Claire recently sat down with the folks from CBS’s Sunday Morning and talk about the challenges facing our neighbors impacted by food insecurity and how, even though she may be stepping away from her role at Feeding America, the fight to end hunger will still be at the heart of everything that she does in the future.
