The Freestore Foodbank is working hard to meet growing needs. One in six neighbors in our Tri-State area is at risk of hunger. With your support, last year we were able to provide more than 20 million meals to Tri-State children and families. We worked with a network of 250 community partner agencies to help address the need from the city to the suburbs to the rural areas.

As we begin 2016, I would like to take the time to thank you for all that you have done to support our efforts to help our hungry neighbors during the holiday season and throughout the year.

Over the summer, we hosted several successful events including the Hunger Walk and 5K Run, the Cincinnati Bengals’ Taste of the NFL and the 21st Annual Rubber Duck Regatta. These events combined raised the equivalent of more than 4.4 million meals for our hungry neighbors.

Thank YouWe recently wrapped up our Thanksgiving and December Holiday Food Distributions and were able to provide food for a holiday meal to help more 13,882 households or 35,992people!

This was all made possible thanks to your generous support; whether it was through donating your time or your resources. We can’t thank you enough for being that hope in the lives of those that we serve.

2016 brings new challenges and along with them, even greater efforts to help hungry children and families in the Tri-State area. We look forward to working with you once more as we take on those endeavors in the New Year!

Sincerely,
