We were recently moved by a donation made by a six-year-old girl named Isabel. Isabel was watching a recent report on NBC called “Child Hunger Ends Here: A Special Report.” Isabel asked her mom if she could collect food to give to the Freestore Foodbank, so children would not go hungry another night. Isabel went to the grocery store on a mission, collecting 35 pounds worth of her favorite foods (pink marshmallows included) to donate. It is inspiring to see someone so small with a desire to help others in a big way. To see a video about Isabel’s generous efforts…click here.
