Monitoring and inspecting of assigned member and non-member agencies; check for compliance with all Feeding America, Job & Family Services, and Foodbank regulations. This includes but is not limited to enforcing Foodbank policies, auditing eligibility forms, maintaining and updating member agency files, both hard copy and computer database. Generating accounts receivable, USDA and distribution reports.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a diverse agency community base. Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem solving in a variety of situations. Ability to mediate difficult situations. Knowledge of outside resources. Ability to understand and apply all existing regulations to agency situations. Write legibly and possess time management skills. Ability to function with minimum direct supervision (due to fieldwork).
Agency Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in Social Services is a plus. Basic computer skills required for data and word processing software. Effective communication and interpersonal skills essential, along with the ability to work with a diverse population. Familiarity with Greater Cincinnati and surrounding counties a plus.
Physical Requirements/Mental Processes
Walking, talking, hearing, sitting, driving, typing, filing, analyzing, interpreting, identifying, differentiating, remembering, reasoning, problem solving. Must be able to physically visit sites that may not be ADA accessible. May drive up to two hours at a time.
Office in a warehouse setting requiring working around moving equipment at times. Site visit to multiple social service agencies in urban and rural areas. Evenings and weekends work as needed.
