The Clay Allliance’s 12th Annual Empty Bowls event to benefit the Freestore Foodbank is quickly approaching. Potters will start preparing for the event this Saturday, October 9th at the Empty Bowls Throw-A-Thon Open House.

Come out to Funke Fired Arts, located at 3130 Wasson Road, between 3-9pm. Watch as artists make hundreds of one-of-a-kind bowls to benefit the Empty Bowls event. There will be free food provided by T.G.I Friday’s, as well as free parking and kids’ activities. You can even share in the experience by creating or painting your own bowl.

A portion of the proceeds from the Throw-A-Thon will go to the Freestore Foodbank.
