Donations Making a Difference
Freestore Foodbank is committed to providing aid to those in need. With 94% of donations, including both in-kind and monetary, going directly to programs and services, the organization is able to help provide three meals for every dollar donated. It is alarming to know that one in seven neighbors in the tristate area is at risk of hunger, with more than 80,000 children affected. Freestore Foodbank’s CFO, Tim Weidner, emphasizes the importance of donations and the organization’s commitment to delivering quality service to the community.
As a non-profit, the Freestore Foodbank prides itself in being open and transparent about where our donors’ dollars are going. It is important for us to let the community know how their investments are being used at the Freestore Foodbank.
