Cincinnati COOKS! is a free culinary job training program for under- and unemployed individuals. During the 10-week course, students learn the mechanics of a commercial kitchen, as well as professional and life skills to ensure success in the food service industry and in their personal lives.
Kids Cafe is a federal program operated through Freestore Foodbank which provides free, complete & nutritious meals to children at the end of the school day so that they aren’t going hungry in the evenings. Kids Cafe provides hot meals each week to 13 after-school sites in Hamilton County and Kenton County.

Each Friday during the school year, Freestore Foodbank sends packs of food, known as Power Packs, home with students to ensure they have something to eat on weekends. Each Power Pack contains over a dozen food items, which are shelf-stable and kid-friendly.
Canned Food Drive versus Virtual Food Drive, what's the difference? In the post pandemic world, many things have changed including food drives. While Canned Food Drives used to be the only option for donating food, in recent years virtual food drives have paved the way for new ways to give.
