National Chili Day 2021 with Gold Star
National Chili Day is about celebrating flavor, so Gold Star and the Freestore Foodbank are honoring our city’s flavor in a big way. So this year, we’re crowning 13 “Flavor Makers” – people who bring flavor to this city every day. We’re featuring one Flavor Maker each day for 13 days – and a special combo meal, the #13, that will benefit the Freestore Foodbank in his or her honor.
So grab a #13 – a 3-Way & Drink starting February 25 through March 9 to honor the city’s finest and celebrate real flavor for a very worthy cause.

Cincy Wine Festival @ Home

We have a fun opportunity for you to have a great time and support us while you’re at it! You can support Freestore Foodbank while at home tasting wine.

The Cincinnati International Wine Festival is proud supporter of Freestore Foodbank and with your help they can provide even more grants to help us further our impact in the community! The festical has already given more than $6 million in total over the last 30 years to 30+ local charitable organizations, including ours. With every ticket you purchase, you are supporting our cause!

With the help of the wine festival, we were able to help feed the children in our community through programs such as our Power Pack program and our school pantries. Will you help us continue this positive impact this year?

Purchase tickets to Cincy Wine Fest @ Home, and you’ll be giving back one glass at a time. This virtual event takes place on March 18, 2021 from 7-9PM. Get your tickets at www.winefestival.com/cincywinefesthome for an unforgettable night for a great cause!

Cheers!

Freestore Foodbank VIRTUAL Hunger Walk presented by pep promotions

Spend your (Virtual) Memorial Day with us!

Join us on Monday, May 31st for the 18th Annual (Virtual) Hunger Walk! This year’s race will be virtual and more information coming soon.

Since its inception in 2004, the Hunger Walk and 5K Run has raised more than $2,000,000.00, the equivalent of 6,000,000 meals, for Freestore Foodbank community partners serving 20 counties in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana. With each step you are taking you are directly impacting lives of those in our community.

Your virtual registration or virtual donation will help support the Freestore Foodbank’s network of 540 partner food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and community centers. Through this network, we are able to provide 37.7 million meals each year to hungry children and families in 20 counties in Southwest Ohio, Southeast Indiana and Northern Kentucky. One step a time, one dollar at a time, together we can solve hunger.
