While our Holiday Meal Distribution may look different this year, it is off to a great start! On Monday, November 2nd, we saw 300 customers who went through Liberty Street Market in Cincinnati! This year our customers will be able to shop for the fixings for their Thanksgiving meal, in addition to their regular grocery shopping. Holiday Distribution takes place at our Liberty Street Market, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. until November 25th.

2020 Holiday Distribution - Off to a great start!

Liberty Street Market

As COVID-19 cases continue to spike throughout our region, we have adjusted to having less volunteer support while continuing to respond to the increased demand for food and services. Allowing our customers to shop throughout the month helps with social distancing, and reduces long lines that our customers typically experienced when Holiday Meal Distribution were condensed into the three days prior to Thanksgiving. We hope to make their shopping experience safe and enjoyable.

It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Every year we work hard to ensure we can provide the makings of a warm holiday meal to families facing hunger across the tristate. But this year is different.

This year, the need is greater than ever before. In fact, we’ve had a 63% increase in food distribution since the start of the pandemic. So, this year, we’re doing more.

We’re distributing the makings of a holiday meal the entire months of November and December at our Liberty Street location and gearing up for a big off-site food distribution event on November 20, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.

We need your help to fill as many plates as possible on Thanksgiving. Every gift of $20 can provide the makings of a holiday meal to a family who would otherwise go without.

The generous spirit of big-hearted people like you never ceases to amaze me. This Thanksgiving season your generosity will make a huge impact for our neighbors facing hunger. Please give as generously as you can today.
