Volunteer Position Description

The Power Pack Driver delivers food packs, which includes: loading vehicles with designated orders, transportation and unloading of boxes and assisting school coordinator with moving boxes to designated storage area and picking up empty boxes. Volunteers will be asked to return empty boxes and signed delivery tickets. The schedule is 3 – 9 hours a week but as flexible as possible.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

This person must be able to do physical work, heavy lifting. Excellent driving record is a must. Ability to reason and understand street maps. Communication skills adequate to interact with staff and external customers. Must have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Agency Preferred Qualifications

Familiar with Greater Cincinnati areas and surrounding counties a plus.

Physical Requirements/Mental Processes

Reading, writing, lifting, driving, talking, seeing, sitting, lifting 40 pounds or more, problem solving, interpreting street maps, reasoning.
