Event Thank You: MLK Day of Service Power Pack-a-Thon

Thank you to the more than 50 volunteers who joined us at our Mayerson Distribution Center for the Eighth Annual Power Pack-a-Thon on MLK Day. We had a fantastic afternoon assembling 1,386 packs of nutritious food for hungry kids in our community. During the event, Panera Bread provided us with a check for our Power Pack program. The money was raised through Panera’s Operation Dough Nation campaign.

On the Horizon: Mark Your Calendars

Spring is just around the corner and we are busy gearing up for the upcoming season at our community farm, the Giving Fields. This is a great volunteer opportunity for all ages. The first opportunity is planned for March 15. We are looking for at least 30 volunteers to help plant produce to kick-off the season. This event is weather dependent. Click here for more information on how to register to volunteer.
