Duration: Long-Term (3+ months)

Time Commitment: 20 hours/week

Schedule: 8:00am-12:00pm, 1:00pm-4:00pm


Essential Functions:  The Greeter/Receptionist is responsible for establishing the first line of contact with the public to the Freestore Foodbank’s Mayerson Distribution Center in Bond Hill. Working with the Team Member of Administration, this person will be greeting guests at the front door of the office, answering the phone and providing general administrative support for the foodbank operation. Assists with the coordination of internal and external mail, assisting with the volunteer experience, and general support of the Capacity Develop Center for meetings and conferences.

Minimum Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communications skills. There is consistent communication with outside guests, volunteers, other team members and member agency staff.  Practical experience in the use of office equipment such as phone, copier, printer, fax, scanner, and technology applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint is strongly desired.

Requirements:  Must be 18 years or older. Professional volunteer application, resume, background check (provided by FSFB), confidentiality agreement, drug free work place acknowledgement required.
