Location: 1250 Tennessee Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229; varies by assignment
Duration: Long-term – more than 3 months
Time Commitment: 3 hours/week
Schedule: Tuesdays or Wednesdays, 9:00am-11:30am

Essential Functions: Delivery of Power Packs, which includes: loading vehicle with designated orders, transportation and unloading of boxes, assisting school coordinator with moving boxes to designated storage area, and picking up empty boxes. A typical box is 19”Lx15 1/2” Wx9 1/2 H and holds 6 Power Packs. Returning empty boxes and signed delivery tickets to warehouse. Scheduling volunteer shift. Arriving on time for volunteer shift. Maintains valid Driver’s License/Commercial Drivers License at all times. Help the Freestore Foodbank maintain a positive image and relationship with Power Pack sites.

Minimum Qualifications: Familiar with Greater Cincinnati areas and surrounding counties a plus.
Must be able to do physical work, heavy lifting (approximately 40 pounds). Excellent driving record is a must. Ability to read and understand street maps. Communication skills adequate to interact with staff and external customers.

Requirements: Minimum age 18 years old. Must have own transportation. Resume, Professional Volunteer Application, Liability Waiver, Background Check (completed/paid by FSFB), Drug-Free Workplace Acknowledgement, proof of valid driver’s license and on-going insurance coverage.

Work Environment: Working and driving vehicle in diverse communities and inclement weather and road conditions.

Parking: At warehouse – lot parking available; At sites – varies by assignment
