One in six neighbors in our Tri-State area is at risk of hunger. Nearly 100,000 are kids.
Thank You For Helping
Thank you for joining the Cincinnati Bengals in supporting the Freestore Foodbank’s efforts to help hungry children and families this holiday season through the 29th Annual Bengals Canned Food Drive.
Bengals Nation Making a Difference
Bengals fans donated 7,215 pounds of food and $21,600.01 on the way into the Bengals/Texans game on Monday, November 16, 2015. That equates to 70,813 meals!
“Too many families are struggling every day to put food on the table,” says Bengals Defensive Tackle Geno Atkins. “What the Freestore Foodbank is doing for the community is inspiring. Being involved with such an amazing organization gives me the chance to give back to a community that has embraced me with open arms since I became a Bengal.”
“Being able to help means a whole lot,” says Bengals Linebacker Vincent Rey. “My heart is all about giving back.”
The Freestore Foodbank truly appreciates the support of the Cincinnati Bengals and Bengals fans; as well as U-Haul of Southwest Ohio for providing orange U-Boxes to collect the canned good donations.
