The Freestore Foodbank is launching the inaugural Hogs vs. Hunger Bike Ride at the beginning of July to benefit our organization. We’re in need of volunteers leading up to the event, the day of the event and the day after the event for several different opportunities:

July 1st 2011 Newport on the Levee 2 shifts of 5/6 people. Total 10/12 volunteers needed to register participants and to sell raffle/split the pot tickets
1st shift (5:00 pm – 7:30 pm) 2nd shift (7:30pm-10:00pm)

July 2nd 2011 Harley Davidson of Cincinnati store located at 1799 Tennessee Avenue.
Registration volunteers needed 10 people. One shift (10:00am-1:00pm) to register people for the bike ride. An additional 4 people to sell raffle/split the pot tickets.

July 2nd Chilo Park in Clermont County
6 volunteers needed to setup, cook and distribute food and water. One shift (11:30am-2:30pm)

July 2nd Newport rally

July 2nd and 3rd Newport on the Levee – Volunteers needed to man the booth,
3 or 4 per shift to sell ducks for the Freestore Foodbank’s annual Rubber Duck Regatta

Noon – 3 pm
3 pm – 6 pm
6 pm – 9 pm

July 4th Volunteers needed to man the booth 3 or 4 per shift to sell ducks

Noon – 3 pm
3 pm – 6 pm
6 pm – 9 pm
