Macaron Day Cincinnati is a chance for macaron lovers to taste delectable French macarons from around the city. While supplies last, patrons may enjoy a complimentary macaron at participating locations. Just mention Macaron Day Cincinnati and see how many macaron bakeries you can visit in a single day! The Macaron Day tradition was established in 2005 in Paris as a partnership among local macaron patisseries to celebrate the French macaron and give back to local food charities. In 2010, French macaron shops in NYC also began organizing an annual Macaron Day charity event with over 15 participating locations. Cincinnati is proud to join the ranks of Paris and NYC in establishing an annual event to appreciate this French delicacy while also supporting local charities. As part of this celebration of decadence, each participating location will be donating a portion of their sales from the day to the Freestore Foodbank of Cincinnati.
