Friday, August 20 was a great day for seven Cincinnati Cooks students. They comprised to 89th graduating class and brought the total number of graduates to 722.
Cincinnati Cooks is a free, 10-week culinary training program that prepares low income, at-risk individuals for employment in the food service industry. As students proceed through the program, they learn life and job skills that ensure their success, in both professional kitchens and in their personal lives.
These seven grads will join the other alums in their excellent qualifications to work in the foodservice industry. With a job placement rate of about 75%, Cincinnati Cooks is making a big difference in many lives.
