Clay AlliancePotters are gearing up for the Clay Alliance’s 12th Annual Empty Bowls event to benefit the Freestore Foodbank. The creativity, food and fun get underway at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, November 7th.

By purchasing a ticket, you can choose from 100 ceramic bowls handmade by potters from the Clay Alliance, and then fill that dish with your soup of choice. Top that off with bread, a drink and dessert. The event will also feature live entertainment, a silent auction, throwing and hand-building demonstrations and a bowl decorating table where kids can show off their own creativity.

This year’s event is at a new location: The Verdin Bell Event Center, located at 444 Reading Road at Pendleton in Over-the-Rhine. Seating times are from 11 am to 12:30, 12:30 to 2:00 and 2:00 to 3:30.  Tickets are $23 for adults and $5 for children. Click here to buy a ticket or for more information about the event.  Last year, the Clay Alliance raised more than $25,000 to help the Freestore Foodbank in the fight against hunger.
